More About Me
I am an active, busy professional. I am the younger half of a 17 year gay couple, have been a volunteer for everything from our condo board (where I am the secretary) to president of Indiana Gay Pride. In addition, I work as a civil engineer meaning we get up early and I am often in the field where I do surveys and work with CAD in preparing the paths roads will take. I love my work and have been with my civil engineering company for over 14 years. In my spare time, my husband Ted and I sail to England---usually on the Queen Elizabeth 2 or Queen Mary 2 and we plan to move to England or Scotland in the next year as we have been six times. I also love doing work on our condo, so I am always in the midst of some remodeling, painting or fixing-up project. We both also ride motorcycles, though we sold the ones we had and I think Ted’s getting a bit too old to be riding, so we likely won’t get a new one --- much to his chagrin. I am close to my partner and my mum who lives about 20 miles away. No matter how early I start (alarm weekdays is at 4.20 a.m.) it seems I can never find enough hours in the day to do everything I want!
